Dear St. Joan of Arc,

I have been in St. Joan of Arc for six years because I came here in third grade.  I am very pleased with the teachers, principals, priests, and fellow students.  I enjoy the curriculum and all the extra activities.  I also like religion classes and the deep discussions my class talks about.  I think St. Joan of Arc is a very well rounded school.

SJA is a very good place to feel comfortable.  Since SJA is a fairly small school, you get to know most students attending this school.  SJA is like another home to go to because your teachers, principal, and friends are there to help you.  My very first teacher at this school was Mrs. Mackanic.  She taught very well so students understood most subjects.  The principal, Mrs. Conrad, helps everyone out by finding and solving problems concerning student behavior and grades.  My friends are great because we tell each other funny jokes and do projects together.  St. Joan of Arc is like one, huge, cheerful family.

The curriculum in St. Joan of Arc is excellent.  I believe that the teachers challenge me by giving me many assignments to keep my brain working.  For example, I get about two hours of homework most nights.  I feel that SJA prepared me well enough for high school.  This school also has extracurricular activities like tutoring and writing classes to sharpen the skills of students who need assistance.  SJA pushes me to the full extent of my abilities.

Religion is a very important part of my life.  Here at SJA, I learn about God and his teachings.  I learned what Jesus did and what I can do to help others.  I also learn moral values taught in the Gospels.  My class discusses the important issues of poverty and disabled people.  Since I am required to finish sixty hours of Christian service hours this year, I help in the community and in my own home.  For example, I worked in the Special Olympics to help escort the athletes to their events.  Having religion in my life helps me have a strong sense of compassion towards others.

all the years I have been at St. Joan of Arc school, I have not once regretted coming to this wonderful school.  I learned many things in all the regular subjects, plus religion.  While attending this school, I felt comfortable with the environment SJA created.  I have learned to be helpful and caring towards people.  St. Joan of Arc prepared me in every aspect needed in the next level of my education.

                                                                                                Sincerely,

                                                                                                Christopher Lim
