Dear St. Joan of Arc,
Thank
you for teaching me all these things I never knew. I’ve learned so many
things not just in school, but how to respect
others and how to be a good person. St. Joan
of Arc taught me to be the best person I can be, SJA
taught me to never give up, and
taught me how to be a good friend and person.
Because of St. Joan of Arc I am the person
I am today. I wouldn’t be half of me if it weren’t for
SJA. Though there have been rough
times where I didn’t know what to do, or I didn’t
know how to do something, but SJA
was always there beside me to help me when
I needed it. If I fell SJA would help me
back up. If I did something wrong SJA would
teach me and make sure I didn’t do the
same mistake.
I’ve been at St. Joan of Arc since the
first grade and don’t regret a minute of it.
The first day of school I saw all the students that
were nervous just like I was, I thought
you know what this is gonna
be ok. Coming to SJA has made me a better person. When I
first joined volleyball, I thought, “I don’t
know if I want to do this,” but when I started I
didn’t want it to end, and when it ended, I
wanted the year to start all over again so I
could play again.
I
remember one moment in fifth grade when we had Mrs. Mackanic.
Ana and I sat
across from each other, and we were doing a
reading worksheet, and Ana asks, “Cristina
what’s the SETTING!!!!!!” really loud, and
everyone looked at us. Even today, Ana and I
still laugh at that. So, again thank you St.
Joan of Arc for helping me be the best person I
can be.
Sincerely,
Cristina Garcia
