Dear St. Joan of
Who would have thought
that graduation would come this soon? I
remember the first day of eighth grade.
Graduating was the farthest thing from my mind. This last year has gone by so fast. It is hard to believe that we are about to
start high school in the fall. I try not
to think about what I am leaving behind.
Instead, I look at what is to come.
Through the years,
this school was always there for me.
Everyone pushed me when I thought I could not go any farther, supported
me when I needed it most, and brought out the best in me. I do not know what I would have done if I had
not come to this school. St. Joan of Arc
is where I made the friendships that will last lifetimes. It is where I met the people who will forever
inspire me to strive for greatness.
I will miss all of you
so much. I will remember each and every
one of you, because you had a tremendously memorable impact in my life. For all of you future eighth graders, remember
to always work your hardest. Impossible
is nothing. For Father Barnes, Mrs.
Conrad, and all of my past and present teachers, thank you for your patience
and guidance. Finally, for the Class of
2006, thanks for always having my back.
Remember, this is our time to shine.
I wish you all the best of luck in life.
With
all my heart,
Patricia Estrada
